The timing was perfect. It was less than a month ago that we had announced our DiG v2.0 that “promises to rock energy world”.
Many utility experts from all over Europe had already expressed their interest to find out more regarding our value proposition, even before the event. All of them have identified that the Digital Transformation of the energy sector is already a reality. They know that the new role of utilities is much more than a bill sender. In fact, it is totally different. Utilities, apart from being solely energy providers, need to turn into customer-centric service and content providers as well. Their customers expect from them to act as energy advisors.
During this new era in the relationship between the utilities and their customers, we have confirmed once again during the EUW15 that there is a great need for innovative solutions that benefit both the utilities and their customers. Customer engagement is definitely a “hot” topic among utility leaders who are looking for new ways to enhance their customers’ loyalty especially in the highly competitive markets. Not to mention the new revenue streams opportunities which make the difference in the bottom line!
All the above facts “explain” the great success of Intelen during the EUW15. It is not an exaggeration to mention that utility executives from all over the world got excited with Intelen DiG. They revealed to us that our combination of solutions is exactly what they were looking for. It is really an amazing feeling to reach to that point when innovation meets exactly the market’s needs!
Here, I would like to say a few words for all these companies which contacted us during the exhibition asking to become our partners: The most significant part is that they believe in what we do and the way we do it. It is really a great honor for us and I am confident that we will be able to announce some great partnerships both in Europe and in the States, soon!
The most popular of our solutions which indeed “rocked the show” was the DiG Engagement module, which employs game mechanics and serious games on the customer engagement process. It creates an enjoyable experience (combined with prizes and awards) for the end user and, at the same time, provides new revenue streams to the Utility through our brand new DiG marketplace! Imagine these in parallel with our consulting services based on behavioral analytics and many more heterogeneous data sources that lead to data driven marketing insights. Customer satisfaction at a whole new level!
For those who did not have the chance to attend the EUW15 and experience our unique approach towards the challenges that utilities are facing, the good news is that you don’t have to wait until next year for EUW16 in Barcelona. Just shoot us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get back to you immediately!
