Intelen to partner with Pleione Energy SA to develop a smart, autonomous connected storage device as extension to its digital engagement platform.
Intelen announces the singing of a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with the company Pleione Energy SA. The executed MoU formalizes the intentions of the parties in respect of their cooperation to design and develop a smart autonomous home storage device, combining recent research results in Nanotechnology and Machine learning.
The storage device will use proprietary Artificial Intelligence algorithms (AI) and real-time connectivity with Intelen’s digital engagement and loyalty platform (DiG), to become an intelligent autonomous battery inside a house. The installed battery will be synchronized with user’s behavioral, contextual, energy, geospatial, financial, loyalty and many other uniquely generated data-sets from Intelen’s cloud and will be able to interact, group and communicate directly with other batteries in a smart way, forming a Peer2Peer Virtual Storage Plant.
All storage devices will be managed by Intelen’s mobile application and cloud. The battery will receive initial settings from the users’ mobile app and will be smart enough to update dynamically settings, to interact with EVs, with other batteries (marketplace) and with users’ dynamic profile and appliances.

The initial battery prototypes, enhanced with embedded intelligence and cloud connectivity, will be tested in Q1 2018 in four European Utilities that have already expressed written interest for official pilots.
